All of my pots are handmade and come with unique variations in form, dimension, and finish. No two pieces are exactly alike, which is essentially the point of handmade objects! So, you can expect that your piece(s) will have slight variations from the image posted to the listing. All measurements are rounded up or down to a near fraction.

All glazes are food-safe unless otherwise noted in the product listing. Pieces can be used safely in a microwave or dishwasher, though neither are recommended. Hand-washing will lengthen the life of any ceramic piece, as harsh dishwasher detergents will degrade glaze finishes over repeated washings. Likewise, subjecting ceramics to intense heat or cold, say in the oven or freezer, can cause temperature shock in the vessel, which can lead to cracking. I try to be more mindful when using handmade items as they’re more fragile and impossible to replace.

Destinations
I currently offer $10 flat rate shipping across Canada and the US. All products are shipped within 5 business days of purchase.
If you live somewhere other than Canada or the United States and are interested in making a purchase, I can provide you a custom shipping rate prior to processing payment. Contact me at algiz@isaacyule.com and we’ll sort something out!
Materials
Mailing ceramics can be a bit challenging. I do my utmost to ship items safely. I use multiple layers of protective packaging, all in recyclable material, or in the case of the packing peanuts, compostable material.
Damaged Items
If your purchase arrives broken, or you notice damage to the box upon delivery, or suspect in any way that there might be breakage, I would request that you take photographs of the box and contents as you unpack it. Then please contact me by email as soon as possible. I am unable to offer meaningful resolutions if too much time has elapsed following delivery.
Resolutions
In the case something is damaged in transit, I typically offer either refund or replacement. Please note that I am unable to refund shipping costs. Again, I am always grateful for any interest and support of my work. As such, finding a resolution is important to me. -
If you have chosen local pickup with your purchase, you can collect your piece at Workshop Studios in Inglewood. Once your purchase is ready, you will receive an email with instructions for pickup, including location and hours.

There are many reasons why handmade pottery is significantly more expensive than the mass-produced ceramic ware we are all accustomed to.
First, ceramic arts are indeed just that: art. Art you can use. Handmade items require an individual to become proficient in many skills. It takes hundreds of hours of practice and learning, if not thousands, to become a decent potter.
Second, handmade items demand more work per piece. No potter is a machine, and time spent on every single step of the process is inevitable. And there are many steps! Susan the Potter breaks down the actual process succinctly here.
